Our robust clinical governance and quality management

As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider, we have a robust clinical governance and quality management infrastructure that prioritises the safety and wellbeing of the individuals we support, enabling them to lead rewarding lives whilst receiving exceptional care at home.

Our commitment to clinical governance and quality management

We are committed to delivering exceptional person-centred care that aligns with our clinical governance framework, which focuses on promoting quality, safety, and risk management. Our framework ensures the people we care for are always at the centre of everything we do, and the care they receive is tailored to their individual needs and requirements.

With our team of over 40 specialist clinicians overseeing our clinical governance and quality management, we have the expertise to ensure quality and regulatory standards and best practices are always achieved, our healthcare professionals deliver exceptional care, and the individuals we support always remain safe.

Quality planning

Our quality planning focuses on understanding and meeting the needs of the people we care for. For each individual we support, we create bespoke structures, plans, and processes that are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they have an entirely person-centred experience.

Quality assurance

Our quality assurance encompasses our operational and clinical checks, which identify opportunities for improvement, ensure we remain compliant, and consistently provide an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated service to the individuals we support.

Quality control

Our quality control is a set of measured standards that monitor our services’ quality and performance. We continuously review our processes and data, responding to any changes that require plans and protocols to be implemented to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Quality improvement

Our quality improvement is a systematic process focused on improving performance, quality, and experiences for the people we support. We involve relevant individuals in any issues that occur to ensure we collectively implement the safest outcomes.

Clinical audits

Our clinical audits encompass regular reviews and analyses of every clinical, medical, safety, and operational element of the care we provide to each individual, enabling us to identify new opportunities to continuously improve our services.

Risk and incident management

Our risk and incident management involves a dedicated team continuously assessing and managing all incidents against our criteria to determine the level of risks. The team also conducts regular review meetings to analyse incidents and identify trends.

“All staff were committed to continually learning and improving services. They had a good understanding of quality improvement methods and the skills to use them. Leaders including the Quality Assurance and Improvement leads worked across the service to encourage innovation and research.”
