Job description of a learning disability support worker at TCS

In your day-to-day job, you will deliver care and support in a person-centred manner to ensure the individual’s needs are at the centre of their care.

Requirements for our learning disability support worker job vacancies
In a TCS learning disability support worker role, we require you to have the following experience:
- A minimum of 12 months of UK-based paid care experience caring for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or mental health conditions.
- Experience and confidence in carrying out physical interventions in the past two years.

My colleagues and I will take the client out for breakfast in the morning, and then we will usually spend a few hours, if not the full day, trying a fun activity. We always take him out for fun activities such as swimming, water parks, and walks on the beach. It’s great to witness this kind of happiness and see him grow as a person. No day is the same or boring, and that’s something I really love about my role.
